Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Liza Yates has been a crafter and creator throughout her life, with a passion for all things design. In 2009, she had the opportunity to study at Parsons School of Design and then continued to The University of Texas at Austin where she graduated with a degree in Advertising from the Moody College of Communication in 2014. Her experiences amidst the culture in both New York City and Austin have inspired her success in interior design, graphic design and jewelry design. 

After working in Houston, Texas, Liza moved to Crested Butte, Colorado, where her love of jewelry design came to fruition. Inspired by the unique materials she discovered while living in the mountains, Liza Yates Design began to take form. She returned to her roots in Dallas, bringing with her a unique and fashion forward style indicative of her love for both Texas and Colorado.
